People
A. The organization is more stable now than in the past, but when I first joinedDataHunt, it was a time of stabilization.
It was difficult to see how to manage this organization, which was different from the organizations I had worked in before. How can I grow this organization and prove my value? I spent a lot of time in 1:1s with members, and it was through those 1:1s that I was able to predict the growth potential of DataHunt and how much I would enjoy working here.
A. It's definitely a culture of communication, which is why we have the most satisfied employees.
We have a lot of opportunities to talk to each other face-to-face, whether it's town hall meetings where we get together and share our work, weekly meetings, or stand-ups. Every two months, we take a day off from work to go on a picnic, and we use Slack to communicate a lot, whether it's compliments, industry news, or announcements. All of this culture is not dictated from the top, but rather isa collaborative effort, which makes it all the more valuable.
A. First, we're looking for people who are aligned with our values and who can fit in with our culture.
At DataHunt, we work with an owner's attitude, taking responsibility for the same goals of personal growth and organizational growth. We believe that talented people do their best work when they have autonomy to follow the direction set by the company. We also believe that all decisions are based on data, and we thoroughly validate our processes and prove them with results, which is what a company that deals with data should do.
We believe that AI will be applied to every industry and every organization in the future, which is why we run our business with our customers' needs at the forefront of our minds. Our mindset is to listen to their feedback, develop new solutions, and evolve as we encounter new challenges. Finally, we envision a world where everyone can use AI quickly and easily. We are still working hard to make the previously impossible possible.
I think the best people to work at DataHunt are those who are good at collaboration, based on my personal experience. I think our organization is in the process of jumping from a small company to a big company, and I don't think there is anyone who hasn't felt a little bit of anxiety at this stage, no matter how insensitive they are. I think the way to get through this is to trust the people next to you and get good synergy from them, and that's the beauty of a startup, to share positive energy and collaborate with your colleagues.
As the organization grows, the goals and visions get more and more advanced, and there are a lot of times when I think, "Am I doing a good job?" I think the strength to overcome that anxiety comes from the people next to me, not from anything else, and it gives us a chance to reflect on each other as we grow together.
A. I think it's time for an overhaul in terms of education. We currently support up to 1million won per year in education expenses to help employees focus on their work and growth, and we also support the purchase of job-related books, but it's not specific yet. I think this area needs to be upgraded.
I think it's time for us to think together as a company to help our employees grow and provide detailed guidance on the training they actually need. It's something we've been thinking about since the beginning of the year, so I hope we can organize it well and provide it to our employees soon.
A. I think most companies have a time when they had 10 or 20 people like us. While working at DataHunt, I was able to experience the early days of a startup, how much the companies that have grown so much now are thinking about and planning for the future. I think it's an advantage to experience the early stages of a company's roots and understand the emotions that are unique to that time.
If I were to work with a new recruiter at DataHunt, I would look for someone who has a strong will to improve rather than stay the same, someone who executes quickly, someone who knows their capabilities, and someone who is ready and looking forward to the next level of growth.
A We have a lot of great people at DataHunt, and each one of them is a key part of our core talent, and their individual skills and passions have led to our dramatic growth.
We're looking forward to another year of growth, and we're ready to take the next leap. If you're looking for someone to join us and share in our personal and organizational growth, we'd love to hear from you. If you think joining us is an opportunity for you, we'd love to hear from you!
